Tiny Talk Tuesday

Photobucket

James birthday is Saturday and we are all excited. Were hoping that he will be fully potty trained. He's doing a good job, thus far, but on occasion he might sneak off and wet himself but today was very productive.

I ask him do he have to tee-tee.
James: Me tee-tee
Mom: Let's go

We got to the bathroom and he pulled down his undies and aim. It went all over the toilet seat. That is why I mop my bathroom floor daily, the men in the house. They miss from time to time.

James: Opp! me sorry
Mom: That's okay just hold you little self next time.
James: K (okay)Flush?
Mom: Yes
James: Hands wash?
Mom: Yes
James: Tank(thank) you.

He pull up his undies and pants and leaves me to clean up the mess. Typical boy.

Have you ever felt that you weren't teaching your child enough, well I came to realize that I'm teaching my children the best way. My two oldest daughters have a blog for class. I give them a topic and they post it in there blog. I check their blog as often as I can, but two days ago I was checking their blogs and found a poem my eldest daughter wrote:

Her words just copied and paste in my blog- (something I should've done four days ago), I have written a poem, based on my family:

"The old year is over,
the new year has come,
we made it through.
Every battle, fought bravely,
proudly,
a struggle to the very end.
How many battles did we lose?
How many have we won?
We have been knocked down many times,
but every time, we got back up,
and stood straighter, taller.
And standing we shall remain.
The year two thousand eight is forever gone,
and with it, too,
is the present.
But we are still here.
There will be more obstacles,
but together we will beat the "course".
So, with love, joy, and glory divine,
we Pu-raise God for 2009!!!"

So go and check out my girl's blog: http://punkrockmonkeysocks.blogspot.com/ Ash
http://mooseflavoredsocks.blogspot.com/ Tif

You know some where deep down in a mothers heart she knows that her children are intelligent, and I just give all the glory and credit to God who gave mothers the wisdom we need to teach our children.

Tiny Talk Tuesday

Photobucket

Well my tiny angel is just that, small, and I mean tiny. He's kind of short for is age. James has a birthday this month, he will be 3. So I ask him what do he wants for his birthday his response.....

James: Me want sonnie (sonic the hedgehog game)
Mom: Your to young for that game
James: No me want sonnie.

I didn't have time to argue with him so I change the subject, and ask him do you want something to drink. His response was NO! and he walk away with his hand on those little tiny hips.
Got love 'em.

Happy New Year

I just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone, five days into the new year. It has been wonderful so far. I have received my grades from college, all classes A-, isn't that wonderful. I started back in 2008, and it's been great. Very busy, but great. I have a birthday in this month, and my goal for my day is to lose at least 10 pounds. I have three weeks. I have decided to try to have some "ME" time this year. I am always doing for others and never for myself, not this year with the help of the Lord.

This is my Plan.

  • "Me" time
  • Try to lose 50 lb by the end of the year
  • Buy some new outfits
  • Get a new hair do
  • "Me" time

Hopefully with God's help I will get to do all the things I plan. Will keep a log of progress. This is something I would like to share....

2008 was a heavy year, but is was and is the start of New Beginnings for The Bradley Family. Throughout the year, when everything seemed impossible God's was their carrying my loads, making the impossible, possible. I want to give God all the Glory, Honor, and Praise for a victorious year and blessed New Year.
